Forest Therapy:

Inspired by the Japanese practice Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing), forest therapy enhances one’s health and wellbeing through connection to, and interaction with, the natural world. Forest therapy follows a sequence of guided invitations that provide structure while embracing opportunities for creativity and serendipity. Each experience is a chance to explore and cultivate a deepening relationship to nature.

Four to ten participants per outing; class lasts for approximately 2.5 hours.

Facilitators:

Laurie Fonken, Ph.D. Educator and Counselor. 25 years as professional counselor and educator in the field of health and well being and is a certified guide through the Association for Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT).

Location:

In the Fort Collins, Colorado area. Location to be announced closer to date due to weather conditions. Attendees will be emailed specifics with information about what is provided and what to bring.
